"After living 54 years in Dargaville, I thought that was where I would spend the rest of my days. But around May 2021 I was surprised when the opportunity came up to move to Ngunguru Retirement village, many thanks to my daughter having seen it on the Ngunguru Face Book page.

It all happened so quickly and everything just fell into place. As my daughter says, it was meant to be. I definitely have no hesitation in recommending Ngunguru Retirement Village if you want to live independently and in a safe environment. There’s no shortage of things to do and see in our village and the beautiful east coast area.

I reckon it’s one of the best decisions that I’ve made and although I have only lived here 7months I feel at home here and have met some awesome people.
