Village Facilities & Events

The Communal Hall hosts many events, meetings, group activities and is used by the very active social committee which organises many fun events. These include regular Sunday afternoon ‘happy hours’, quiz nights, Melbourne Cup race days and Christmas celebrations. As happened recently, a resident will sometimes ‘throw a party’ for friends and family in the hall for a special occasion.

Village Facilities:

  • Hall

  • Workshop / Hobby Shed

  • Vegetable Gardens
there are enough plots for at least one per home

  • Boat/Campervan Parking

Village living offers an affordable lifestyle to those seeking coastal living in the sun. Set in the heart of the wonderful Ngunguru community it is only a short flat walk to the various recreational facilities & beach, giving the perfect opportunity for an independent retirement.

Revenue to cover the everyday village running costs is gathered by way of a monthly fee paid by each residence within the village.

This fee is solely for the running of the village and covers:

  • Lawns

  • Grounds Maintenance

  • Administration Costs

  • Dwelling Insurance

  • Filtered Water Supply

  • Rates
